Traci Martin > WE DON'T REMEMBER HER FACE ANY MORE My son told me sadly how he didn't remember his grandma anymore, because she had moved to another state. He was sad and confused. To him, it was if she was gone. That she exists elsewhere, means little. He can no longer see her face in his memory.
Traci Martin > A SMALL FORTRESS Some kids have nothing. They cannot even allow themselves the luxury to feel the emotions. For if they did they would break. The eyes are the windows to the soul. She will not let you in, and she will not tell you her secrets either. Letting someone in would allow the opportunity to be hurt again. She is a SMALL FORTRESS. you cannot break her down, for she is already broken.
